Kevin Hobbie

VP North America

Kevin Hobbie is an experienced clean-tech operations executive who leads Iondrive’s North American commercialization efforts for its proprietary IONSolv™ technology. Based in the United States, he drives the company’s strategy to accelerate the low-cost, low-impact recovery of critical minerals from battery materials, e-waste, and rare earth streams.

Prior to joining Iondrive, Kevin led the build-out, commissioning, and initial production ramp-up of a commercial-scale battery recycling facility in the US. He successfully produced battery-grade precursor materials (pCAM) from recycled feedstock and brings proven expertise in facility development, process scale-up and optimization, commercial partnerships, and offtake arrangements.

In his role at Iondrive, Kevin focuses on advancing US-based pilot and commercial projects, expanding multi-feedstock deployment of IONSolv, and building strategic customer and partner relationships. He also supports engagement with state-level incentives and federal funding initiatives tied to critical minerals supply-chain security and domestic manufacturing.

Kevin’s deep operational experience in scaling US battery recycling infrastructure positions him to strengthen Iondrive’s on-the-ground execution and accelerate market entry across North America’s growing clean-tech sector.
